  • What is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic care is a holistic healing method. It involves making sure the joints are moving like they should to decrease pain and increase function. We pair adjustments with soft tissue work and exercises to help you get better faster.

  • What is a Chiropractic Adjustment?

A chiropractic adjustment is using our hands or an instrument called an activator to improve how a joint moves in your body. Nearly every joint in the body can be worked on in some capacity

  • Are Chiropractic Adjustments Safe?

Yes! Chiropractic adjustments are generally safe for the general population. Certain conditions are yellow and red flags for chiropractic adjustments but we usually have different things that can help and alleviate pain.

  • Does the popping sound mean the adjustment worked?

The popping sound is the sound of gases leaving the joint space. You don’t need to have a popping sound to get great results.

  • Are there different types of chiropractic adjustments?

Yes there are a lot of different chiropractic techniques. We are a technique agnostic practice, so we practice all different types as needed by patient likes and needs.

  • Can chiropractic care make me sore afterward?

You can be a little sore following a treatment. It usually gets better in a couple hours to days.

  • Do adjustments put bones “back into place”?

Not really, they let the joints move better, but moving the actual bones doesn’t really happen. It can create a small gap in the joint spaces but that’s about it.

  • Can chiropractic care prevent future injuries?

If your body can move well, you can adapt better to different stressors and situations.

  • Is chiropractic care appropriate if I already exercise regularly?

Most Definitely, If you exercise regularly we want to help you keep exercising for as long as you want. Making sure your body is ready for your training is one of the best things you can do.

  • Can I receive chiropractic care if I have had surgery?

Most of the time you can if it is all healed up. We won’t do much if you just had surgery but after you’re healed up and we get the okay to start doing treatments from the doctor we can usually do some things for your condition.

  • Do you take X-rays in your office?

Yes, we do in-office X-rays as needed. We don't X-ray all our clients. If an X-ray is needed we will let you know and explain why it is necessary.
